The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund made a $525,000 investment in CLYF Quincaillerie, a Haitian construction materials company. The loan and grant combination is helping CLYF provide access to quality hardware materials from a local source. The $375,000 loan will allow Port-au-Prince-based CLYF to purchase machinery to produce light-gauge steel metal studs. The $150,000 grant will support training for use of the equipment, creating up to 35 new jobs.
By investing in a Haitian company, the Fund's grant and loan to CLYF exemplifies building back better by promoting jobs while building to international standards.
Why We Invested in CLYF Quincaillerie
Clinton Bush Haiti Fund's grant to CLYF Quincaillerie reflects our commitment to supporting small and growing enterprises with access to finance and business development services.
